     For five years, she had a monthly two page spread in "The Village News", a local newspaper writing business articles and taking photos of business owners.
    You will see many of her photos published in magazines, web sites, area maps, and business directories, etc       
       Mary Jane has devoted her time as a volunteer to her community. She was named "Woman of the Year" 2004 by the California State Senate, 38th Senate District. The Soroptomist International of Fallbrook also named her their "Woman of the Year". She was name "Community Leader of the Year" 2006 by the Bonsall Chamber of Commerce. She has received numerous proclamations by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors and Resolutions by California Senators and Assemblymen. She served as President of the Bonsall Chamber of Commerce, and the Bonsall Woman's Club. She was selected to be the first Honorary Mayor of Bonsall.
     She has worked with the youth as a 4-H Club Leader, Cub Scout Den Leader, Roundtable Commissioner, Unit Commissioner and received the "Award of Merit" by the Boy Scouts of America, Orange County Council, their highest honor under the Cub Scout Program.  As an artist and volunteer, she has taught art at local elementary schools and given art lessons.
     Mary Jane is the one you will find at events and parties with camera in hand.
     Mary Jane Poulter is an award-winning photographer, artist, and a community volunteer. Many of her photos have won local, state and national awards. The highlight of her 25-year photography career is the realization of her dreams and plans for a "Mobile Photo Studio"
     Other hightlights, include one of her photos being chosen for the front cover of the California Clubwoman Magazine, 2013 summer issue. At the San Diego County Fair, her portrait entitled "Rosie" was chosen to hang in the photography exhibit - only 500 were selected out of 4,000 entries.
